Free Legal Seminars and Clinics The Griebel Law Office and the Churubusco Public Library will jointly host
a series of Free Legal Seminars and Clinics, beginning in May of 2011. Initially, these will be at the library at 116 N.
Mulberry St. in Churubusco, Indiana. The seminars will focus on a variety of topics, and the clinics will offer those
who like to “do-it-yourself” the chance to complete the legal forms with guidance from the attorney. Indiana Rules of Professional Conduct, Rule 6.1, promotes public interest legal service by an attorney,
and national and state bar associations set a goal of 50 hours per year per lawyer (see Comment to Rule 6.1). Griebel's
aim is to utilize these seminars and clinics to help achieve that goal. Further, the initiative is to mark and celebrate
the one-year anniversary of opening his law office. Finally, the timing celebrates the May 1st Law Day, which has celebrated
the US legal system yearly since 1958.
